Good Samaritan Health Systems is a regional, non-profit health care provider serving more than 311,000 in a service area that covers more than 38,300 square miles in central and western Nebraska and northern Kansas. The Kearney based health system is a member of Catholic health Initiatives.

Good Samaritan Hospital is a medical surgical, acute care hospital. The hospital provides inpatient services including medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, coronary intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and medical and radiation oncology. Rehabilitation services are enhanced through an inpatient rehabilitation unit and industrial rehabilitation known as Company Care. Comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services support the inpatient care program.

Richard H. Young Hospital is the premier mental health center in the region. Since opening in 1986 as a free-standing psychiatric facility, it has provided a broad continuum of care for all ages ranging from intensive inpatient to outpatient services.
